Pull Members

Monitor and Control

Follow RestoreCord migrations on the Migrations page. Covers every status and counter, pausing, resuming and stopping, the member queue, history, activity graphs, analytics and public share links.

The Migrations page shows every pull: live progress on the Active tab and every past migration on the History tab. From there you can pause, resume or stop a migration, look at the next members in line, and share a live status link.

Go to Migrations

The Migrations page lists migrations for servers you own. Sub-users with Pull Members can start and control migrations, but those migrations don't appear on their own Migrations page.

Active and History

TabWhat it showsRefresh
ActiveQueued, waiting, pending, pulling and paused migrations, plus migrations that finished, failed or stopped in the last 10 minutes. Up to 50, newest first.Every 3 seconds while one is running, and whenever you return to the tab
HistoryEvery migration, newest first, 20 per pageWhen you open the tab or change page

Click any migration to open its details.

With nothing running, the Active tab shows No Active Migrations and a Go to Servers button.

Search with Search migrations... and pick what to search:

  • Server Name: part of the source server's name.
  • Pulled To (Server ID): the exact Discord ID of the destination server.

Statuses

StatusMeaningCan you…
QueuedWaiting for another migration on the same server to finish.Pause, stop
PendingCreated, scheduled or resumed, and getting ready to pull.Pause, stop
WaitingHeld by RestoreCord before pulling.Pause, stop
PullingAdding members. The badge shows pulled / total.Pause, stop
PausedYou paused it. Nothing is pulled until you resume.Resume, stop
FinishedReached the pull amount or tried every member.—
FailedStopped by an error. See why migrations fail.—
StoppedYou stopped it. It can't be resumed.—

While a migration is preparing, its card shows Fetching members for server (with a running count) and then Preparing members for server (with a progress bar of members checked).

Counters

The details view shows these counters:

CounterMeaning
Members PulledAdded to the destination server.
Members in ServerAlready in the destination server, so skipped.
Members UnauthorizedTheir authorization was refused or revoked. They're skipped in future pulls until they verify again.
Members in Maximum ServersDiscord wouldn't add them because they're in too many servers.
Members BlacklistedFirewall-blocked members are removed before a pull starts, so this stays at 0.
Members BannedBanned from the destination server.

Other errors are counted as failed. There's no separate card for them, but they appear in the progress bar and the attempt count.

Progress bar and totals

  • Progress bar: grey shows members tried, red shows members who didn't join (all results except Members in Server), and green shows members pulled.
  • "x / y users pulled": members pulled out of the migration's total, which is your pull amount, or every eligible member for Unlimited.
  • "n attempts" on an Active card: members tried, not counting those already in the server.

Target server card

The details view also shows the destination server's name and ID, Members before pulling, and (Business) Pulled still in server: members pulled minus those who left since.

Warnings

WarningMeaning
Discord has limited member pulling for this server.Discord rejected more than 10 requests for this destination. Slow down or try later.
The bot could not read the target server's members, so pulling may be slower…Server Members Intent is off, so members already in the server can't be skipped up front. Turn it on in the Discord Developer Portal.
This migration failed because the bot is missing permissions in the target server…Re-invite the bot or give its role Create Instant Invite, then start a new migration.

Actions

The owner and sub-users with Pull Members can use these on every plan.

ActionWhereWhat happens
PauseActive card or detailsStops pulling after the member in progress. The remaining queue is kept.
ResumeActive card or details (paused only)Carries on from where it paused.
StopSquare button on the Active card, or Stop Migration in detailsAsks for confirmation, then ends the migration as Stopped. It can't be resumed. Members that weren't tried yet are dropped.
Queue / View QueueActive card or detailsOpens the member queue.
ShareShare icon in the details header (owner only)Creates a public status link. See share links.

A paused migration doesn't hold up the queue. Another migration for the same server can start while one is paused.

To change settings mid-pull, stop the migration and start a new one. Members already pulled are found in the server and skipped.

Member Queue

Migration Queue shows the next 5 members waiting to be pulled, with their position, avatar and name, marked Pulled or Waiting. It shows Live while pulling and Complete when finished, and updates every 2 seconds. You can't reorder or skip members.

Migration Activity Graph

Business. A chart in the migration details and the member queue that compares members pulled with members who left the destination server afterwards, over time.

  • Lines: Members Pulled (green) and Members Left (red), counted since the start.
  • Markers: Start, Ended, Bot Left (your bot was removed during the pull) and Batch Wait (a pause between groups).
  • Footer: total pulled, total left, and the Leave Rate (left ÷ pulled).
  • Only members RestoreCord actually pulled are tracked. Members who were already in the server aren't.

On lower plans the graph is replaced by an upgrade prompt. The graph checks the plan of the account viewing it.

Migration Analytics

Analytics › Migrations totals your migrations over the last 1, 7, 14, 30 or 90 days, optionally for one server: Members Joined, Members Left, Total Migrations, Retention Rate, a Member Flow Analysis breakdown of results, a Join to Left Ratio, and your 4 most recent migrations.

Go to Analytics › Migrations

Share a read-only, live status page for one migration, for example with a client or your team.

Open the migration

On the Migrations page, open the migration and click the share icon in its header.

Click Generate Share Link. Click the link to copy it. It looks like https://restorecord.com/migration/<code>.

  • Who can share: only the server owner.
  • Expiry: 7 days. The window shows Expires in n days. Generating again while a link is valid returns the same link.
  • Stop sharing: Stop Sharing deletes the link. It may keep loading for a few seconds afterwards.
  • What the page shows: the source server's name and icon, progress, the six counters, start time, status and time elapsed. It refreshes every 3 seconds while the migration runs.
  • What it hides: the destination server, member names, the queue and all controls. Search engines don't index it.

An expired or deleted link shows Link Expired.
