How listings are found
- Ranking: servers with the most votes come first. Ties go to the server that was listed earliest.
- Search: visitors search with 3 to 99 characters. A search matches your server name, description, tags and categories.
- Requirements: only servers linked to a Discord server are listed. A listing whose name, description, tags or categories contain blocked words is hidden.
- Updates: the Discovery page is cached, so changes can take a minute to show up.
Discovery
The switch that puts your server on the Discovery page. Once it is on, View Discovery Page opens your public listing at /server/<name>.
Turning Discovery off clears your description, tags, categories and website when you save. Copy them first if you plan to list the server again later.
All the fields below are greyed out until Discovery is on. Turning Discovery off is the only way to remove the listing: Private Server hides the verify button and server details but does not take the server off Discovery.
Discovery Description
A short pitch shown on your listing card, up to 191 characters. It is also searched, so mention what your server is about in plain words: the game, community or product people would search for.
Discovery Tags
Keywords that help people find your server in search, up to 10 tags.
- Type a tag and press Enter, Space or a comma to add it.
- Tags are single lowercase words, letters only (a–z). Numbers, spaces and symbols are not accepted, and duplicates are skipped.
- Click the × on a tag to remove it, or press Ctrl + Backspace in the empty field to remove the last one.
Discovery Categories
The categories your server is listed under, up to 5. Start typing to search the list, then pick a category or press Enter to add the first match. Categories come from a fixed list:
Community, Gaming, Fortnite, Cheat, Shop, Social, Roleplay, Anime, Buy, Chill, Hangout, RP, Roblox, Friends, Friendly, Fun, Art, Minecraft, Music, Games, Chat, Active, VC, Giveaways, Memes, Chatting, Deutsch, Nitro, Events, FiveM, English, German, Cute, Trading, New, Robux.
Discovery Website
A link to your website or shop, shown on your listing. It must be a full URL starting with https:// (or http://). Leave it empty to show no link.
Products
Products and services shown on your Discovery listing. With the Products Carousel on, they also appear on your verify page. Products are saved as soon as you add, edit or delete them, separately from the Save button.
