What a Discord server receives when you verify with RestoreCord, how to revoke access, and how to remove or delete your data.
When you verify in a Discord server that uses RestoreCord, you authorize that server's own bot through Discord's official authorization screen. You can see exactly what is requested before you click Authorize, and you can revoke access or remove your data at any time.
What a server receives

Read Discord's authorization screen before clicking Authorize. It lists every permission the bot is asking for. If you don't agree, click Cancel and nothing is shared.
What RestoreCord never gets
- Your Discord password.
- Your Discord login token.
Authorization happens entirely on Discord's own screen, and you can revoke it whenever you like.
Stop a server from pulling you back
Revoking access stops a server from adding you back to servers and from accessing your info. You can do it from RestoreCord or from Discord.
Using My Data
Open My Data
Go to restorecord.com/mydata and log in with Discord.
Find the server
The page lists the servers you have verified in.
Click Unauthorize
Click Unauthorize for that server. It can no longer pull you back.
Using Discord Authorized Apps
In Discord, open User Settings → Authorized Apps and remove the server's bot. This revokes the same authorization.
If the server checks authorizations, revoking access can remove your verified role there. To get it back, verify again.
Remove My Data
Remove My Data on My Data removes your personal details for a single server.

The kept data is needed for the server's security checks. To delete everything, see Full deletion.
Full deletion
For full deletion of your data under the GDPR, follow the instructions in the privacy policy, or contact support. Requests are answered within one month.
Data is stored in the EU and handled under the GDPR. Verification data is kept for as long as the server owner keeps the server on RestoreCord, unless you remove it yourself first.
